Delivered 35+ power generators and continue

People in the region have been facing a shortage of electricity since the first days of the full scale invasion. For many, electricity is one of the basic needs because it gives power to mobile phones (communication), the possibility to cook food and heat up homes.

We have also received requests from critical infrastructure facilities: hospitals, bomb shelters, water pumping stations, volunteer centers and social businesses, where generators are often the primary or emergency source of power.

Since the beginning of the full scale invasion, Desna has provided more than 35 generators to such requests. Some of them we bought for the funds collected by our organization, and others were provided by our donors.
